Witchie's Camp

Witchie's camp on Moolooloo Station in the Flinders Ranges is our most popular small site. It is tucked away in the ranges on the bank of Witchie's creek so quite sheltered and nice and cool in warmer months. Stunning walks from the campsite up in to the hills or short drive to the homestead to access the wifi and other station activities. Completely private and big enough for one or two vehicles and set ups. This site has an eco-toilet.

Boundary Camp

Just a quick video to show potential guests what Boundary camp looks like before booking. Also explains some of the most relevant information about this camp. This is a great spot, located just inside the property on the bank of the beautiful Oratunga Creek in the river red gums.

Willigon Green Camp

Willigon camp is a large group site on Moolooloo Station, Flinders Ranges, South Australia. it is popular with 4WD clubs and tour groups as well as groups of friends and family.

It will fit more than 10 cars and caravans and has an eco-toilet and has great views of the surrounding ranges.

Grid Camp

is a group camping area that is booked to one group at a time. Great for bringing friends. Guests need to be fully self sufficient with own toilet. Great spot in the red gums on a dry creek bank. Bookings essential. Conveniently located a short drive from the homestead ara

Doyle's Camp

Doyle's camp is a private and secluded camp site on Moolooloo Station in the Flinders Ranges in South Australia. This is a beautiful location, sheltered from wind and surrounded by stunning ranges and red gums. There is a creek that passes by the site (usually dry) and an abundance of wildlife and wild flowers in Spring.

Woolly Camp

Woolly camp, Moolooloo Station in the Flinders ranges in South Australia. This basic campsite is private and remote and has stunning views of the Mount Samuel ranges. It will fit several cars and vans and is suitable for off road caravans. Not far from the homestead and good access to the station activities

Wagon Wheel Camp

Wagon wheel camp is situated on the bank of Wool Shed creek on Moolooloo Station in the Flinders Ranges in South Australia It is one of many private and secluded campsites on the station and is suitable for large groups spread out along the creek bank. It is a basic campsite and campers must be fully self sufficient. there are no amenities at this site. About 6 kms in to the property from Glass Gorge road and 1 km from the Moolooloo homestead it is well situated for enjoying all of the great station activities and exploring the region.

Basic Bush Camps

Our range of basic bush camps are diverse in location and features. We have a couple of sites suited to conventional vehicles and caravans, but most require high clearance 4WD to access and are best suited to fully off-road caravans or camper trailers and tents. Please note that all visitors to our basic bush camps must have their own camping toilet.

Boundary Camp: Nestled in the red gums on the bank of the Oratunga Creek, this is a great spot for one or two vehicles and camping set ups. Suitable for conventional vehicles and caravans.
Doyle’s Camp: Deep in to the station off of the stunning Gap Creek, Doyle’s is a moderately large area in the heart of Moolooloo. Surrounded by stunning red gums and hills, it is worth the drive. Suitable for high clearance 4WD and off road camping gear only.
Grid Camp: Set in an open area on the bank of a gum creek Grid Camp is suitable for most vehicles and camping gear and will accommodate groups.
Hannigan’s Camp: This is for those who like it remote. Hannigan’s Camp is situated in the heart of Hannigan’s Gap in the native pines. A large area to choose from, it is not far from our stunning Ferguson Gorge.. Suited to high clearance 4WD and fully off road camping gear.
Knob Hill Camp: A great spot on the far side of Knob Hill Look out. Plenty of area for a group but suited to off road camping gear and 4WD vehicles only.
Wagon Wheel Camp: An open area on the bank of a gum creek this site is suited to most vehicles and camping gear, including conventional caravans. Can fit up to several vehicles and set ups.
Woolly Camp: A large, open area with sweeping views of the Mount Samuel range. This site is suitable for most camping gear, including off road caravans.

WARNINGS

Do NOT camp in creek beds as flooding can occur unexpectedly.

Do NOT camp under gum trees in case of branches falling.
